Advanced Medical Isotope Corporation and Citizens for Medical Isotopes co-hosted the first annual Medical Isotope Symposium, "The Cure Starts Here", in Kennewick, WA on March 26, 2008. AMIC kicked off the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new isotope production facility. The Reverend Jesse Jackson was the keynote speaker.
