Robert Schenter
Robert E. Schenter, Ph.D. serves as AMIC’s Chief Science Officer and as Scientific Advisory Board Chairman. A recognized authority on isotope production for the treatment and diagnosis of major diseases, Dr. Schenter is one of the leading U.S. experts on fission reactor production of isotopes. He was the Site Director and Deputy Site Director in the Isotope Program Office at the Westinghouse Hanford Company and the PNNL, and has testified before Congress on Medical Isotope Supply and Applications. Dr. Schenter is active in several cancer foundations, is an American Nuclear Society Fellow, and a past member of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes.
