Dr. Alan E. Waltar serves as Chairman of the Company’s Scientific Advisory Board, and is also a Senior Advisor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratories. He has had a distinguished career culminating in being Director of Nuclear Energy at PNNL. He had also served as Professor and Department Head of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University and Manager of Various Fast Reactor Safety and Fuels Organizations at Westinghouse Hanford. He holds degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Science from the University of Washington, MIT and the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Waltar holds numerous awards in the field and is a noted author, having written three books on Nuclear Energy and published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed journals. He has also given more than 100 presentations.
